Private coaching is the one thing on our timetable that has no timetable. Sessions are arranged directly between the family and the coach, which is the entire point — the dancers who need it are usually the ones whose week is already full.
It is not a replacement for class. It is what you add when a class alone cannot give one dancer the attention a specific goal requires.

When one-to-one is the right call
Three situations account for most of it. A competition solo that needs building and then polishing to the frame — choreography, musicality, and the hundred small corrections that separate a placing from a win. An examination with a date on it, where a specific syllabus has to be secure rather than broadly familiar. Or a single technical wall: a turn that will not hold, a jump that lands wrong, a flexibility limit that group class does not have time to unpick.
The fourth, quieter reason is confidence. Some dancers do their best work without twenty people watching, and a term of private sessions is sometimes what gets them ready to be seen.
How sessions are arranged
There is no fixed slot to book into. You tell us what the dancer is working toward and roughly when they are free, and we match them with a coach whose specialism fits. Sessions can be weekly in the run-up to a competition or exam, or occasional when something specific needs fixing.
Because it is arranged individually, pricing is quoted rather than listed — it depends on session length, frequency and coach. Ask and we will give you a straight figure.
Who coaches it
The same coaches who teach our weekly classes and prepare our competition teams, several of whom have competed at championship level themselves. That matters more in a one-to-one than anywhere else: an hour alone with someone who has stood on that floor is worth considerably more than an hour of general supervision.
